alright, weekend updates:

Friday

friday was science, had akina, farhana, nicholas as my teammates. qionghui was supposed to be there also, but she didn't come to class. the faci is very hossan-leong-ish, with all the actions and stuff, plus his tone of voice. after class went straight to work, no major cockups.

Saturday

got forced out of bed early in the morning cos my mom wanted to bring us out for breakfast. i didn't want to go out, but as i said, i was FORCED to. after that, went back home and went straight to work. no big matters at work too.
(if this seems similar to friday, sorry, my life's too boring for you)

Sunday

Got out of bed in the morning cos of WORK (again), went there, worked and had lunch there. after work, came home and found out that my dad was bringing us to RAMA THAI
*cue drumroll*

Okay, Rama Thai Shark's Fin Restaurant:

Service: 5/5
Food: 3/5 (shark's fin was good, so was the prawn croquette, but the rest were so-so)
Pricing: 2/5 (HOLY HELL, IT'S EXPENSIVE)

Overall: 4/5, Go there, it's worth it ^^

oh, although their mango juice costs 5 bucks per glass, it's worht it. seriously.

alright, another day, another surprise

today was enterprise, and we got a not-so-normal faci again (suprise, suprise)
got teamed up with jannah, farhana and eric, did a rocks-socks presentation (what's new)

on the way home, saw the small shop at clementi selling the supposedly latest sweet craze of the times, a whole bunch of small underlings were buying it. when i took a look at it, it appeared to me as a tube of strawberry-flavoured glucose syrup. "Sour Squueze", it was called.

I guess its only meant for small children and the diabetically-inclined (that is to say, people who WISH to get diabetes). i bet after you drink a whole carton of this, your piss comes out as sugar cubes.

wednesday, 3rd day of school

was maths today, had akina, hafis, hui ru, and lemuel as my teammates
gotta say they rock the best by far, hahaha

we pratically found out how both machines worked barely half an hour into the problem larh, first line in our FMT was "we know how the object machine works". LOL

i don't like our math teacher. he's monotonous, and he's rubbishy. i'm anti-him. plus, he makes it look as though he's "cool" and "in" by saying he's an avid gamer, plus he tried to boast to me about his 200+ second expert minesweeper score. LOL, i got expert done in under 190 seconds, so he sucks.

a certain guy in class tried to lie to me today. he said he watched a certain anime two years ago but it was only released last year, FWAHAHHAHA. zaki and i just can't stop laughing about it.

damn, seems that after i changed classes i don't have much to talk about. great times, all's left are memories...

"don't ask me how i'm feeling
cos i'll just say "okay",
but it really says nothing
on just how i feel today.
don't ask me what i'm thinking
on what's going through my brain.
i bet you miss your old class too,
i bet you feel the same.
don't ask me why i'm crying
you wouldn't understand,
how much we knew about each other
just like the back of our hands
don't ask me what i'm saying
or why i even talk at all
i'm just recollecting the past memories
as i walk down the empty hall

i miss the path towards our block
i miss the way we're together
i miss how we'd make fun of each other
i miss the fun and laughter"

today was the second day of school. it was culture module for me today.
teammates were zaki, farhana, eric and nelly.
did pretty well

crap. i don't feel like blogging anymore.

i miss w35J

FIRST DAY OF SEMESTAH TWOOO~

yep, today was the first day of the new semester, in my new class, W14F

had the honor of having Nicholas, Ephraim, Angelina & Marly as my new teammates ^^
(okay, maybe not angelina, she noisy :x)

today was cognitive processes PART TWO, so it was G102, instead of last sem's G101

although it was cognitive, it involved ATOMISM, HOLISM, REDUCTIONISM, QUANTUM MECHANICS and all the shit. its more like science when you first see it, but then later you'll find out its just an analysis of different thinking processes.

went down at first break to meet rong, jess, amy, lindsey at heaven, then helped them book a table while they went to buy their food first (as usual). By the time they were finished, the whole crowd and all was there, so i didn't bother buying anything; what's the point of eating when you have to rush...

i regret not eating during first break, cos 10 minutes into the second meeting my tummy was grumbling non-stop, so second break i met them at the bottom of W1, and was prepared to go buy some snacks when SUDDENLY i realised that i FORGOT my wallet.. so had to run back up to get it.

Here's where the "fun" starts:
when i climbed the stairs all the way til the 4th level, i immediatly ran into a room looking for my wallet, without actually confirming its my class. turned out to be W14P that i was in. so i quickly turned around and ran out, pretty embarressing, and ran to the other side, where i came face to face with the door of W14A. shit. two mistakes at a go, now everyone on the level recongises my face.

after getting my wallet, went down to seven eleven and ate cup noodles there. had a mini ex-class gathering, just sat there and talked til one p.m, then went back to class to work. presentation was pretty well done, i have to say, thanks to the hardwork of my team members.

after school ate pizza with rong, jess, amy and jingwen. everyone only needed t pay ten but i paid twenty cos they forced me to. unfairness, this world is.

alright, updates

from the 12-14th sept, i was at a chalet, so didn't come online the whole time, cos mom didn't let me bring the laptop. i don;t really understand why i can't bring MY laptop which I paid for it with MY OWN money, but nevermind that.

met up with amy and jingwen at jessica's house on the 12th, to bring all the bbq stuff from there to the chalet. when we reached the chalet, played a few rounds of blackjack, then jingwen had to go off. waited for wanrong, lindsey and jessica all the way from 3 in the afternoon till ten at night.

didn't sleep at all in the first night, couldn't sleep, actually. walked around the place till i reached pasir ris community centre, and bought a pack of charcoal there and walked back to the chalet. it was around four then, and the rest were playing donkey, except for amy. played with them till everyone got tired, then slept.

second day we prepared for the bbq. woke up in the morning around ten and went to BK for breakfast. ian said he wanted to come early, and he reached around 2 in the afternoon. the time in between breakfast and him reaching we gambled, and i think i lost forty something then, within the two days. Ian came, and we gambled until four plus, five, then went to the arcade for awhile, then started the bbq.

it was supposed to be a CLASS bbq, but in the end, only 8 people turned up. okay, i understand that 13th was the first day of ramadan, can;t really blame rahil, farid and aini for not coming, and ryan was in malaysia, so he had no choice either. Before the whole chalet thing i asked around, and i got alot of "most probably"s, but in the end, EIGHT PEOPLE TURNED UP. E-I-G-H-T, out of, lets say, TWENTY. what happened? i don't know, and i don't really bother to find out either. every ten times i do something for the class, eight times i get ignored or taken for granted, the other two times i get blamed if something goes wrong. hey, AT LEAST I TRIED.

hongyee and joel were part of the eight, we had our CLASS bbq, then went inside to watch TV after creating a bonfire at the bbq pit. after the tv session, we gambled. alot. and now joel owes me forty bucks, so i guess i broke even. after that, jel went off, then ian and hongyee stayed overnight. couldn't sleep at night again, but i wasn;t the only one. walked around the place again, but this time towards the ocean, fell asleep on a bench there, with the sea breeze blowing. woke up and walked back to the chalet, and slept again. woke up when the chalet people called at nine thirty to remind us to return the key at 1030. woke everyone up, got ready and left. ate breakfast, and went home.

when i reached home, i slept. then i woke up at 7 30 to eat my dinner, then slept again, til this morning. woke up, went to suntec to take a look at the timberland sale. everything was more expensive compared to if i used my timberland member card, so went downstairs. remembered that i didn't eat breakfast, so went to food republic to get some.

okay, this is the part where i REALLY start to complain (hey, my life ain't perfect, 'kay?). i ordered two kaya and butter toasts, two half-boiled eggs, and a glass of iced milo. normally this would cost me 2-3 bucks at any coffee shop, but there it cost me A BOMB (literally, cos bombs are pretty cheap to make). FIVE-DOLLARS-FIFTY-CENTS, it cost me.

#$%^&*@!

i am not going back there again.

oh well, at least the day turned out fine. Finally got myself a pair of proper canvas shoes, then went off to work. work was relatively alright today, absolutely no cock-ups, and left early. good.

LOOK WHOOS BACK~

wellwellwell, here i am again, back in the blogosphere. last blog was deleted cos it was "found out", 3 years of blogging down the drain cos i didn't know that you can actually restrict people from entering, but nevermind that...

what motivated me to restart my blog was the amount of lousy food I've been getting these days, and i've got nowhere to complain to, so here i am...

okay, so i had dinner at this place called "Lagun Sari Indonesian Seafood", located at 76 Peck Seah Street, right outside tanjongpagar mrt. it was very attractive, offering an 'a la carte' buffet and a 1-for-1 package. On its front door i saw that they were certified by suria as "the most healthy food outlet 2006", and saw some other certificates commenting the restaurant on its healthy food and stuff.

So i had 2 sets of the $25 package with my family, and ordered a few cups of orange juice as well. waited awhile, and the first dish out was the soup-f-the-day, tomyam soup. tasted normal, nothing much to it. next came a dish that looked like deep-fried buns, but when i cut it open, it was actually beancurd with filling. What's so healthy about beancurd with filling, dipped in batter and deep-fried? Plus, our drinks and rice has not come at that moment...

The third dish came, on the menu it was described as some vegetable stirfried with squid, but when i saw the dish, i only spotted 6-7 thin strips of sotong, and a heap of vegetables. it was served on a platter that is no bigger than a piece of A5 paper.

rice came, drinks did not. seems that they didn't take down the order. Luckily they didn't, cos it turned out that the "orange juice" was in fact: orange concentrate....

the other dishes came soon after, all served on dishes that were postcard sized, 6 by 4 inches at the most. the chicken rendang chunks had quite a few bones, the bbq prawns were no thicker than my finger, the fish had more bones than meat. After everything was done, we had our dessert, and the options were chendol or iced cocktail and attap-seeds. I chose the latter. my brother had the chendol, and when the dessert came out i was really disappointed. the chendol was worse than what you find at any coffee shop, and their attap seed was fake, those made from flour or whatever. both the dessert came with huge mountains of ice.

verdict: attractive, but no good. go try it yourself if you don't believe me.
