Colossians 3:12-14

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."

The one formerly known to us as Miss Melanie Lee, has united in Holy Matrimony with Mr. Darren Soh in Wesley Methodist Church on this day, and is now known as Mrs. Melanie Soh.

i bloody swear that what happened today was the most sweet and touching thing that ever happened luh. Maybe it was the whole wedding-in-a-chapel thing. Maybe it was the beautiful sight of two people in love with each other coming together, or maybe it was an eye irritation, but i cried a little during the exchange of vows. referring to my previous post about love, this is nature taking its course. Two people who truly loved each other were set free by the one who loved them, but fate has it that nature brought them back together, and now shall live happily ever after, 'til death they do part.

I guess this is gonna be the closest thing i'm ever gonna get to a marriage luh, excluding the future marriages of my siblings, where i'll be even closer, as family. Nature ain't kind to me, but i don't mind. If the path that was chosen for me is a lonely one, so be it. what can i do. and yes, i'm being a little emo here, but still, it was touching, to me, seeing two people that were meant to be, finally come together to spend the rest of their lives.

The groom, Darren, exchanged vows and wedding bands with Melanie, then he lifted Melanie's veil, and kissed her. Then he realised that the pastor hasn't said that he was allowed to kiss the bride. After the pastor announced to everyone that was there to witness. Then he kissed her again. LOL. And Melanie described us who were invited there as "a bunch of ravenous polytechnic students" to the pastor. and Nicholas went and said very loudly, "Yes, That's us". gawd, that's like the most embarassing thing ever. THEN we realised that three rows down, was another bunch of "ravenous polytechnic students", which i guess was also invited by Melanie.

For better, or for worse.
