Mas Selamat seems to have disappeared from the news. The last thing i remember hearing was MM Lee saying that Mas Selamat would most likely NOT pose a threat, assuming he's still in Singapore.... abit late for that newsflash, i think.

There are many things i want to discuss about the incident. First, HOW DID A LIMPING MAN ESCAPE??? my friend theodore, master of conspiracies, thinks that the police let him go on purpose, to test us singaporeans' unity and strength in 'times of crisis'. PUH-LEESE, no matter how i try to piece it together, there's no way he could have escaped, unless he managed to flush himself out.

If the SPF really DID let him out on purpose (because they know that he's no threat if they kept tabs on him), then i guess their plan backfired, and mr. Mas Selamat got away, and got in touch with his JI brudders. Seriously, you don't think he's alone in Singapore, right?

The newspapers said that he was arrested for planning an act of major destruction with intent to cause fear on Singapore, so most likely he's back on that plan already. My guess is that he's in Malaysia or Indonesia, because they're like beckoning him back, with all the "Selamat Datang" posters and all... JI's more powerful than we think...
